The Healthcare Christian Fellowship International has been working in the region for many years. The focus of HCF Oceania in the region has been primarily medical out reach to the Pacific Islands.

It was increasingly evident to the Board and Global Leadership Action Team (GLAT) that a strong and structured base is needed in Australia to fulfill the Great commission through healthcare in the region of Oceania.

Just before the Pandemic in 2020 the HCFI decided to work in the Oceania region as follows from June 2020 to increase participation and enlist believers in all forms of healthcare through various skill groups and churches and other like minded people.
